Dr. Hansberry teaches in the Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Public Service programs. She teaches a variety of classes including Organizational Management, Public Service Leadership and Ethics, Managing Conflict and Change, Human Service Organizations and Introduction to Nonprofit Management. Prior to joining the School of Public Affairs full time in 2015, she was the managing director of Think 360 Arts Complete Education, a state-wide arts education nonprofit organization that brings professional teaching artists to K-12 schools and provides professional development training in creativity to K-12 teachers. Prior to that, she was the executive director of the Foundation for Human Enrichment, a Boulder, Colorado-based somatic psychology training organization. Dr. Hansberry’s areas of interest include the economic impact of arts and culture, nonprofit and public sector governance and organizational development, regional cultural asset districts, and the facilitation of collaboration. Prior to her doctoral studies she served as the district administrator for the metropolitan Denver Scientific and Cultural Facilities District. She also held leadership positions in Grand County Colorado, including executive director of the Fraser Valley Women’s Resource Center and district administrator of the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District. Dr. Hansberry has served on multiple boards of directors including The Blue Bench, Scholars Unlimited, Visit Denver, Grand County Mental Health Association, PHAMALY, New England Adaptive Sports Association, Advocates of Grand County and Colorado Nonprofit Association.
