Bio

Hansen Millison is an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the criminal justice and public administration programs in the School of Public Affairs. Before coming to the School of Public Affairs, Hansen was an academic advisor in the College of Arts and Media at CU Denver. Hansen is an AmeriCorps alumnus, having completed two years of service for the “I Have a Dream” Foundation of Boulder County. Hansen holds Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and was a Resident Advisor for most of his time at CU Boulder as well. Outside of the university, Hansen plays trombone and percussion in two Denver bands (Roka Hueka and the Pink Hawks). He enjoys skiing, camping, hiking, climbing and biking. He grew up moving back and forth between Virginia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
