Ellen Patterson
External Engagement and Professional Learning Program Manager
Bio
Ellen Patterson (she/her) currently serves as the External Engagement and Professional Learning Program Manager for the School of Public Affairs. Her work is dedicated to enhancing the daily operations experience for participants, instructors, and staff of SPA professional development programs as well as advancing initiatives to deepen engagement between SPA alumni, students, and the greater community. Before joining CU Denver, Ellen worked as a project manager and client success director for a virtual events startup and as a project coordinator for a neurodevelopmental disabilities research laboratory. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Psychological Services from Northwestern University. When not at work, Ellen divides her time between cuddling her dog Mila, trying new recipes, and being outdoors backpacking and camping.
