Bio

Nora Scanlon currently serves the School of Public Affairs as a Lead Academic Advisor & Programs Coordinator and Lecturer. She works with undergraduate criminal justice students from the time they start at CU Denver, through graduation. Nora was the recipient of the School of Public Affairs Staff Award in fall 2015 and the inaugural campus Student Success Award in 2018. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Denver and Master of Criminal Justice and Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Nora is passionate about animal welfare and has two senior rescue animals, Chloe (cat) and Hershey (dog).
