Bio

Lauren Goolsby serves as the Assistant Dean of Finance and Operations for the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. In this role, she acts as the primary liaison for budgetary and research matters, supporting faculty, staff, and students across the school. She is responsible for the development and oversight of the school’s comprehensive budget portfolio, which includes general funds, extended studies, auxiliary operations, and sponsored projects. She also provides support to faculty principal investigators throughout the lifecycle of sponsored project research.

Since joining CU Denver in 2005, Lauren has held various finance and grant administration roles. Prior to her current position, she worked in the School of Medicine and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the CU Denver Business School and has actively contributed to the University’s mission through service on multiple committees.

A Colorado native, Lauren enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, kids, and dogs.
