Huss joins efforts to combat youth violence in Denver
Sep 2, 2020 byYouth violence has been on the rise in Denver, and with the help of Dr. Sheila Huss, the City of Denver is on the case. Dr. Sheila Huss is an assistant professor of criminal justice, clinical teaching track, at the CU Denver School of Public Affairs, and she also serves as the program director for the school’s Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Since early 2020, she has been performing a needs assessment around youth violence prevention efforts in Denver as part of the Youth Violence Prevention Action Table (YVPAT).Full story
