    CU Denver School of Public Affairs Center on Domestic Violence hosted the 2018 Champions for Change Awards Dinner at Mile High Station in Denver on October 5. The Champions for Change Award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions toward effective intervention and prevention of gender-based violence and who exemplify the vision and values of the Center on Domestic Violence.

    New interactive budget tool allows voters to see impact of ballot questions

    University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs and Balancing Act, an online public budget simulation maker, announced the release of a new tool for Colorado voters to see the impacts of three ballot proposals that, if passed, would dramatically increase funding for transportation and P-12 education. Each proposed funding increase is linked to spending called for in each measure.

  • Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI) and CU Denver School of Public Affairs partner announce 2019 Colorado Challenge Communities

    Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI) is announcing five Colorado communities awarded the 2019 Colorado Challenge Accelerator Program Awards. Colorado Challenge Program Communities have been selected based on the challenges that they are facing in both their region and their population size. The Colorado Challenge Studio program is a partnership between DCI and the CU Denver School of Public Affairs, to find new problem-solving approaches to Colorado community challenges and hone the skills of public affairs emerging professionals in applying a multi-disciplinary approach to economic and community development.
