Career Resources

The School of Public Affairs provides career services to students and alumni of the criminal justice and public affairs programs. Services include:

• Help to search for capstone hosts
• Support with job and internship searches and applications, including:
  • Setting up an account in Handshake, CU Denver's jobs portal, and searching for jobs and internships
  • Support to write resumes/CVs and cover letters
  • Support to develop LinkedIn profiles
  • Personal website tips
  • Mock interviews
• Support to apply for graduate programs, including advice on writing personal statements and requesting letters of recommendation
• Career-related events, such as job fairs and the Career Exploration Series
• Resources on professional organizations related to students’ and alumni areas on interest
