Bio
Elizabeth Pae joined the School of Public Affairs in 2013 as Director of Human Resources and now serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the School of Public Affairs. She provides leadership and oversight in the areas of budget and finance, human resource and payroll services, finance, information technology, procurement, and administrative operations of the Dean’s Office. This position supports the Dean to execute a variety of activities and initiatives designed to foster broader strategic goals for the continued growth and transformation of the school.
Elizabeth has worked for the University of Colorado in various staff positions since 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Certificate in Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and then earned a Master of Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs with an emphasis in Public Management. She serves as a President-Elect for the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) Rocky Mountain Chapter and as SPA’s staff representative on the CU Denver 2030 Strategic Plan Implementation Advisory Council. She has also served on various cross-campus university committees to advise on process improvement and efficiency.
Elizabeth is a life-long Colorado resident and enjoys all that our beautiful state has to offer! When she’s not in the office, she and her husband enjoy hiking and camping with their two children.
