Michelle Zetwo

Lecturer

Michelle Zetwo is a recently retired special agent from the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement where she spent 23 years investigating violations of federal fisheries and wildlife regulations. She has conducted investigations throughout California as well as illegal seafood smuggling investigations across international borders. Michelle spent the first six years of her career working as an oceanographer for NOAA in Miami, Florida.  Since retiring, Michelle has been a contract investigator for the Department of Justice assisting EPA agents with illegal pesticide smuggling investigations. She has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami and a Master of Science from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, FL. She currently lives in San Diego, CA and volunteers as a visit guide at Lions, Tigers, and Bears, an accredited sanctuary for animals rescued from the exotic animal trade.
