Nora Scanlon Master of Criminal Justice, Master of Public Administration

Nora Scanlon currently serves the School of Public Affairs as a Lead Academic Advisor & Programs Coordinator and Lecturer. She works with undergraduate criminal justice students from the time they start at CU Denver, through graduation. Nora was the recipient of the School of Public Affairs Staff Award in fall 2015 and the inaugural campus Student Success Award in 2018. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Denver and Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Nora is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers regularly at a local farm sanctuary, helping to provide care and much-needed TLC to rescued farmed animals. She also owns a one-eyed cat named Miss Lady.
