Lara Jakubowski

Lara is a Senior Manager with La Piana Consulting, a national management consulting firm serving nonprofits and foundations. She works with nonprofits and foundation to solve complex problems and specializes in mergers and collaborations, strategic and business planning, and change management. Building on her past work as Executive Director of the Nonprofit Centers Network, Lara is highly motivated by the question of how nonprofits can adapt their strategy and structure to a dynamic environment and seeks to help clients by designing action plans that endure. She began her career in nonprofits as a loan officer for the nonprofit Reinvestment Fund in Philadelphia, PA, and was the founding Executive Director of the Impact Development Fund in Colorado. Lara has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Regional Science and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. As a new empty-nester, she is often found walking her dog, biking, or traveling.
