Caleb Cage has served in a number of leadership and policy positions throughout his fifteen year career with the State of Nevada. In addition to work in the areas of veterans services, economic development, and workforce development, Cage has worked in emergency management roles. First, he was appointed to serve as the Emergency Manager and Homeland Security Advisor from Nevada in 2015 to 2019 and later he served as director for the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Policy and Public Administration at University of Nevada, Reno, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the United States Military Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School, respectively. He is the author of a number of books of fiction and nonfiction focused on the war in Iraq. Cage is also a Fellow with the second class of the Civil Society Fellowship, a Partnership of ADL and The Aspen Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
