Jill Yordy is a lecturer and doctoral student in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research interests include the policy process, democracy, and policy conflict. Over the last three years she has worked as a research assistant on projects focused on policy conflict, environmental policy decisionmaking, and the role of emotions in political protest. Prior to starting the PhD program at the University of Colorado Denver in 2018, she worked as a practitioner both in the non-profit sector and in state government. She has worked in leadership positions for environmental and civic engagement non-profits, state legislative and presidential political campaigns, and as a state legislative aide. Jill holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Luther College.
