Stephanie Puello MA

Stephanie is a 4th-year PhD candidate in the School of Public Affairs. Her dissertation research is focused on election administration and voter restoration policies pertaining to citizens with felony convictions. Her research interests also include civic engagement, administrative burdens, public opinion, and representative bureaucracy. She doubles as an administrator for the University, serving as an Academics Service Coordinator in the Graduate School office. She also serves as a mayoral-appointed Commissioner with the City & County of Denver’s Women’s Commission. Prior to joining CU Denver, Stephanie was an administrator in the Office of Graduate Education at the University of Denver, where she earned her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society from the Florida International University in Miami, FL.
