Hailey Powers joined the School of Public Affairs in 2018. Prior to that she was a Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence advocate for the YWCA, a position she started after earning her MA from the University of Chicago in 2016. Her research interests include Victimology, system responses to victims of rape and sexual assault, and quantitative analysis using the NCVS. Her current research focuses on RSA victim outcomes and bystander presence during victimizations.
