Sojeong Kim is a PhD candidate and lecturer in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research interests focus on environmental governance and collaborative governance. She is currently working as a research assistant in the School of Public Affairs. Before joining the PhD program, Sojeong served as a research assistant at the National Institute of Forest Science (NIFoS) in South Korea, conducting research on forest policies related to people's welfare. She also worked as a research assistant at the Center for Korean Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, studying relationships between North Korea and China. After earning her PhD in Public Affairs, she plans to pursue a career in academia and continue researching how environmental policies affect people's lives. Sojeong earned a Master's in Public Policy from KDI School, with concentrations in regional development and environment.
