Alexis R. Kennedy is a PhD student and instructor at the University of Colorado Denver, School of Public Affairs. Alexis is interested in public finance, budgeting, and equity issues and in what ways the public, private, and nonprofit sectors interact as a result of public finance mechanisms. In addition to her academic life, Alexis has worked as a public finance consultant in support of Pay For Success programs in Colorado. Alexis' dissertation focuses on the Community Reinvestment Act, publicness, and stakeholder relationships through public finance mechanisms. Alexis holds an MA in Economics from Rutgers University, Newark.
