Manjeet Ranu

 

Manjeet Ranu is a comprehensive planning practitioner with national experience in land use, transportation, and environmental planning, complemented by expertise in urban design and capital programming. He provides strategic planning and project development services for complex, interdisciplinary initiatives across the United States, supporting public, private, and institutional clients in addressing multifaceted challenges in community development, transportation, infrastructure, and environmental systems.  Manjeet began his career in Colorado, with the benefit of the foundation laid by his education from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a dual major Bachelor of Arts degree and from the University of Colorado at Denver, having earned both a Master of Public Administration and Master of Urban and Regional Planning. 
 
Manjeet has served as an executive at four major transportation agencies in the Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and San Antonio regions. His experience includes leading transportation planning, capital programs, Federal Transit Administration Capital Investment Grants (CIG) projects, and environmental processes under NEPA and CEQA. He has also led community development efforts for cities in the San Diego, Dallas, and Tucson regions, with responsibilities spanning policy development, regulatory administration, infrastructure planning, and public and private development. In the private sector, he has led feasibility, planning, and project development initiatives for a major Southern California developer and homebuilder.
 
Manjeet is recognized for advancing complex initiatives from concept through delivery, integrating interdisciplinary teams and aligning stakeholders to achieve practical, high-impact outcomes. He operates at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and disciplined execution, with deep expertise in program management, governance, and organizational coordination. He brings more than two decades of public-sector experience and nearly a decade in the private sector, providing a balanced perspective on planning, delivery, and implementation.
