SPA faculty and PhD students to present at European Consortium for Political Research

PhD students Kayla Gabehart and Allegra Fullerton will present at the European Consortium for Political Research in Innsbruck, Austria. Gabehart will present “Emotions, Coalition Building, and Deliberative Governance: How Emotions are Used in Legislative Testimonies on Morally Contentious Issues” with PhD student co-authors Allegra Fullerton and Anna Crawford, and Profs. Chris Weible and Tanya Heikkila. Allegra Fullerton will present “The Antecedents and Evolution of Policy Change” with co-authors Elizabeth Koebele, SPA Profs. Tanya Heikkila and Chris Weible, and Daniel Nohrstedt. Profs. Weible and Heikkila will participate in the panel “Conflict and the energy crisis: Dynamics of energy conflicts.” Prof. Weible also will be presenting “Pulling Back the Curtain: Tracing the Evolution of the ACF though the Flow Diagram” with SPA alum Dr. Kristin Olofsson among other colleagues. Additionally, Prof. Heikkila will be a co-chair and discussant for “Pushing the boundaries on learning in environmental governance research,” and Fullerton will be a discussant on the panel “Analyzing Transition and Transformation Using the IADF.”
