Kennedy awarded grant for social sciences research

PhD candidate and SPA lecturer Alexis Kennedy is among 25 scholars to receive grants from the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy for the 2020 award year. The awards are for research in the social sciences, and Kennedy’s award is for her research titled “Examining Stakeholder Relationships, Priorities, Values, and Rulemaking Strategies through the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).” Kennedy will defend her dissertation next month and start her tenure-track position at Colorado State University in fall 2021.
