Katz receives best dissertation award

PhD student Juniper Katz’s dissertation entitled, “The Effect of Policy Implementation on Public Values” was selected by the SPA PhD Committee for the Best Dissertation Award for the 2019-20 academic year. The committee noted that her dissertation is innovative in its theoretical approach, data sources and methods of analyses in exploring how nonprofits contribute to advancing public values. Juniper has secured a teaching position at UMass Amherst.
