Bultema dissertation research updates
Toula Wellbrook | School of Public Affairs Feb 22, 2021
PhD student Stephanie Bultema’s dissertation research, in partnership with the Population Health Innovation Lab (PHIL) at the Public Health Institute and with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), serves the dual purpose of advancing theories of collaborative governance and the Framework for Aligning Sectors. The main research grant is titled “Developing Standard Measures of Alignment in Cross-Sector Collaboratives.” Her research team invites the public to register for a web discussion on Wed, Feb 24, at 12 p.m. (M.T.) to hear emerging findings and to ask questions/offer comments. The team recently was awarded an additional $75,000 grant to validate the measures used in their project, which will then be used by RWJF to develop a practical toolkit for measuring cross-sector alignment. Additionally, Stephanie co-led a web discussion focused on collaborative governance and collaboration dynamics for Accountable Communities of/for Health in December. (Watch the recording.)
