Stephanie Bultema

Stephanie Bultema is a PhD candidate and lecturer in the School of Public Affairs (SPA) and a research scientist and co-principal investigator in the Population Health Innovation Lab at the Public Health Institute. Her professional and research interests focus on large-scale inter-organizational collaboration for the common good. Past SPA activities include conducting research for the Center on Network Science and the Workshop on Policy Process Research and serving as co-president for the School of Public Affairs PhD Student Association. Prior to enrolling in SPA’s PhD program, Stephanie worked as an Assessment Epidemiologist in Spokane Regional Health District’s Data Center on a wide range of community assessment, planning, and evaluation projects. She also served as president of the School Health Care Association of Spokane County and as a board member for Communities in Schools of Spokane County. Stephanie earned a Master’s in Administrative Leadership from Whitworth University, with additional coursework completed in Washington State University’s Master’s in Health Policy and Administration program.
